Climbed at gym

Had a good session today. Two days of bouldering per week seems to be a good balance with my other activity. Although I’m getting slagged for training, it is definitely helping with my core strength and fitness. Most importantly, it’s fun.


Shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1 reps
Push press 3-3-3-3-3 reps
Push Jerk 5-5-5-5-5 reps

My results:

5×1 @ #105 Shoulder press
5×3 @ #105 Push press
5×5 @ #105 Push jerk
60s rest b/w each set.

Wow, this workout didn’t go as I anticipated. I thought I would be increasing the weight with the push press and push jerk. Instead it was a fight for both. My serratus muscles felt incredible taxed during this workout, perhaps due to the steep climbing beforehand.
