Northover Ridge
27 Jul
Kate wanted to walk the Northover Ridge trail in Kananaskis. I did it over ten years ago but have always wanted to go back and do it in a day.
- 33.7km
- 1180m (3870 ft)
Water is abundant along the hike. In the fall the ridge is the only place you might not find water.
Signage is a little lacking so be sure you’re paying attention.
I was surprisingly tired at the end of the day. Perhaps it was the threat of lightning strike while on the ridge. Check it out in the guide Where Locals Hike Canadian Rockies: The Premier Trails in the Kananakis Country Near Canmore & Calgary
