1st Tabata Something Else

Morning warmup:

Row 5min, Skip 5 min
3 rounds: 5 chinups, 10 PU, 15 OHS

I felt so low on energy this morning that I threw in the towel and went home. Biceps are incredibly sore from Sundays pushups.

Afternoon warmup:

5min DU practice, window sill, kayak stretch, some pullups, pushups, situps, and squats.

Afternoon workout: “Tabata Something Else”

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises. Score is total reps from all 32 intervals.

My lowly score: 55 pullups, 63 pushups, 79 situps, 131 squats ==> 328

Will emailed asking if I wanted to do the Crossfit WOD and I couldn’t resist. Then Brad joined in and it was game on. It went from “I’ll take it easy today” to “I’m going to beat you” in about 3 nanoseconds. Good fun.  I can’t wait to feel my biceps tomorrow.
